At Seymour First Baptist, we are striving to Love God, Love Others, and Make Disciples! We recognize that the church represents Christ to a world in need of love, truth, forgiveness and grace. We pray that each day we share the gospel, live out the teachings of Jesus in our interactions with others, and clearly reflect Him to our community. MEET OUR PASTOR
COREY CAIN
Corey and his wife, Melody, have three children, Caleb, Bennett and Emmy. They cheer
for the Titans and Vols for football, but have been lifelong Kentucky basketball fans. Corey and
his family enjoy being active in the community, participating in sports and music, and having
people in their home. They view their activities outside the walls of the church as opportunities
to introduce others to Christ and welcome them into the church. Corey sees evangelism,
discipleship, and missions as a vital part of the church’s purpose. He received his Master of
Divinity from Southern Seminary and his Doctor of Ministry from Midwestern Seminary. Corey
began serving as Lead Pastor at SFBC in 2020. He’d love the chance to meet you when you visit,
